Would you like to know how you can improve your memory.
Apparently, two thousand years ago a Greek named Simonedes developed a memory method called LOCI. The word locus (or plural loci) is Latin for "place".
Simonedes used places to help him memorize. He numbered the locations in his home. He started in the doorway and then logically proceeded around his home. He reviewed these many times so that he could remember the locations and objects by number.
These objects were actually Simonedes' mental files. If now he wanted to remember a list of items, he would place them mentally on these objects in his home. So, if you had to give a presentation without referring to your notes, just change your points into pictures and file them in your "house files". When you need to present, just mentally walk through the house and present without the notes
Check out "Improving Your Memory Will Improve Your Life" for more information on how Ron White has used this method successfuly in our modern times.
